This goes completely against what Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Mahatma Gandhi preached.

We are way beyond civil disobedience here. MLK Jr's march on Selma and other demonstrations, the Indians under Gandhi harvesting their own salt and getting beaten to prove a point -- all that has been forgotten and thrown out the window.

There are protesters who are rightfully pissed at the MPD cop and his light charges who are going about this in the right way by doing peaceful demonstrations in accordance with their God given rights under the First Amendment. I agree with their message too.

The protest was about the fricking statue.
