it's sad that you people think there's any reason to waste billions of dollars in outer space. there's nothing there, and even if there were, you're never going to get to it. Even if you think and are committed to something worthwhile out there, at least wait until you can get there within, I don't know, 75 years bc right now you can't get there within tens of thousands, or possibly millions, of years.

We make no technological advances due to research in or about space? They just go up there and play space cards and drink tang?
