My #1 favorite fighter of all time and the man who got me into UFC. His downfall was so depressing. The mid 2000s were an awesome time for ufc

The Iceman was tough af. It’s funny though that we cant get the Rampage knockout (one of the most legendary in the sport) on YouTube yet.

It was like once they(fighters) understood his timing it was all over. I know it’s not that simple but it seemed that way after his fall from grace

Liddell was tough as nails and will always be one of my favorites. The combo of fights between Chuck, Couture, Tito, Rampage plus TUF and it’s incredible finale with Griffin/Bonnar was the era that got me into MMA.

He benefitted from fighting a lot of non strikers who also couldn't take him down. But his biggest fall was getting KOed and going from Iron chin to glass chin where a rich Franklin gust of wind could put him out cold.

He probably wouldn’t stack up very well against today’s fighters unfortunately

Hulk Hogan bodyslamming Andre the Giant is my favorite moment of all time.

He was like that Roadhouse guy who suddenly loses his chin.
And then you start wondering, did he just fight tomato cans and never have a chin and the fighters are just way better now or did he suffer concussions and just lost his ability to take a punch. That happens.

I'm old enough that I rented UFC 1 and 2 from blockbuster video. Was shocking to see a 180lb guy beat several guys in one night. Hank Abbott was awesome.

He’ll always be considered a killer to me. Beat a prime Belfort and Overeem (the Overeem KO is the best overhand right of all time), one of the goats randy couture TWICE, Tito TWICE and neither were close, Kevin randleman, wanderlei silva, guy metzger.
After rampage knocked him out he completely lost his chin but that’s happened to plenty of fighters once they get up in age, but I agree chucks was pretty bad

Rumble on his run at light heavyweight was the hardest puncher I had seen until Ngannou

Of all the old fighters he would be the least likely to be successful today. Just not an elite athlete. But man was he perfect for the time.
Kevin Randelman on the other hand would be so fricking incredible if he came up today and had today’s knowledge and training.

Ngannou knocking out Overeem was like a Mortal Kombat style punch .
I’m surprised his head stayed attached to his spinal cord after that

There was modern training available for him then. He just punched tires and shot roids with stupid Mark Coleman. Modern Chuck would do 10k times better than Randleman. Chuck still had stone hands, a chin, and couldn't be taken or kept down.

Bisping has never beaten Dan Henderson.
