You mean like suggesting that I said the Company was owned by King George? What did I fabricate? You were correct to point out it was a joint stock company and not directly owned by the monarchy. I never disputed that. I merely laid out the ties to the government, which is all that really needed to be established in the context of the OP. You took issue with that; not sure why.
You keep flexing that "muh alternate history" muscle, though. Just might want to align your decades a little better.
