It's honestly so aggravating. It always makes it seem like the world is ending.

History demonstrates that when law and order is an issue, it favors the Republican Party. So in as much as Progressives “ want this “, they should also know it works against them. This hurts them especially hard in purple states . Most voters still crave social order and abhor criminality . And they can hold two ideas in their mind simultaneously- that it’s bad for cops to cavalierly murder black guys in the street AND it’s bad to attack, loot and burn down businesses and homes.

Maybe start holding these assholes accountable for being bad cops.
This incident happened 3 days ago
The officers have been fired and are under investigation
What more do you want them to do at this point?
You need to drive up to Minnesota and join the peaceful protesting so you won’t have so much white guilt

Now imagine if that wasn't a cop that did that. His arse would've been hemmed up in a hurry. From the video, it shouldn't be hard to deduce that a visit to a Grand Jury is more than warranted.

Once again, frick off with that either/or bullshite. I'm sorry you don't have the capability of seeing that these situations have increasingly been at the hands of police not being held accountable for being bad police AND sharing the opinion that looting and rioting does no good for anyone.

No I see it. I just don’t give a shite any more
They want change and I understand that but protesting the way they do is unacceptable.
Let them burn their fricking city to the ground
And I’m so tired of black people always playing the victim card.

What exactly is it that white conservatives want on the news, since they don't trust the news outlets?
Seems like some people just want to bitch.

That's what you get out of this?
The proponents of racial outrage aren't black people. It's white Progs like you who revel in this stuff.

It's an election year.
There is a media frenzy that turns a local (sometimes legitimately controversial, sometimes clear cut) issue into a massive wedge issue every major election year.
Tawana Brawley - 1987/1988
Duke LaCrosse - 2006 mid terms
Travyon Martin - 2012
Mike Brown/Ferguson MO - 2014 mid terms
Alton Sterling/Baton Rouge - 2016
Either the issue happened organically or was based on complete bullshite....either way, the media and coastal progressives will have a frenzy to stir up racial tension in the flyover country before the election. The goal of the intense coverage is to stoke fear and drive up voter turnout. Politicans get some camera time and are provided with an opportunity to soap box for a while. A little more gasoline is poured into the racial division that never seems to be allowed to heal.
The challenge this year for them is that this competes with Covid-19 coverage. The case in Georiga didn't really pick up as expected because it was too clear cut. I suspect the Minneapolis case (obvious police brutality) would have otherwise had organized protests not occurred. The Travyon Martin case (shot self-defense) and the Alton Sterling shooting (shot while fighting back/ resisting arrest) were more divisive and controversial. The 2020 racial wedge issues so far are too egregious to really take off like the Trayvon Martin shooting.
The Minneapolis incident is more like the Baltimore incident - it's real, and it's obvious police brutality. Since there's not much ambiguity and thus not as divisive, it's not as politically valuable. They'll try to make hay with it though through media coverage and organized (sometimes violent) protests.

I’m a liberal, but I know damn well that Biden doesn’t have a chance.

Visit the elites where they live and I think you’ll find a rather homogenous neighborhood if you know what I mean.

Well off northeastern progressives (I don't call them liberals, because they aren't) seem more likely to isolate themselves from the mere mortals than the well off right leaning types.
It's not that way all over the country though. Very common in the northeastern cities.
