it just blows my mind, if the leaks are true, how they are attempting to hide like over half the game. like, its a pretty misleading promotion of the game in all honesty for everyone paying $60 for a game.
i get its supposed to be a secret but imo, its extremely misleading

Despite the potential problems with the story the gameplay looks brutal as frick and the graphics are amazing

The leaks were true but it was confirmed that they got hacked and it wasn’t an inside employee. They left some data files in another game that revealed a back door into naughty dog’s systems.

All I've said and maintained is "wait and see". It's impossible for the internet mob because they wouldn't know what to do with themselves if they didn't have a liberal to shite on.
But if the story turns out to be all that, find my earlier posts in that original thread, it sounds horrible and is a bad idea. But Druckmann spelled out the basis for the story and that sounded all right. Maybe what we've seen is just a small portion of the story, or a dream sequence, or part of an early build that has evolved so much since then. Let it come out, THEN make up your mind.

It sucks if the leaks are true, because otherwise the game looks crazy fun during Ellie's gameplay footage. If I played as her and then had to turn around and murder my own protagonist from the first half of the game, I would lose a lot of the enjoyment from the game.
Imagine if you were playing as the Courier, but halfway through Fallout: New Vegas you were suddenly playing as one of Ceasar's troops and were hunting down yourself.
