In my experience 5 years us about as long as any highway rated tire will last. Learned this the hard way with a motorhome trip from New Mexico to Georgia....tires looked like new, wound up buying 8 on that trip LOL...all 6 on the ground and both spares. Thankfully they didn't blow out they just went flat going 60 MPH....they were all a little over 5 years old. I replace everything now at 60 months even if they appear to be like new 'cause who needs that kind of problem when you are fishing / hunting or camping.
