Mesh WiFi for two story house

I’m looking for recommendations for a mesh WiFi system. The house is a wide two story house but the house in not very deep. We will have an office on one side that I will need good WiFi access for and the a playroom upstairs all the way on the other side. The person I typically work with for this uses a luxul system but it looks like they are limited to two access points. Will that be enough? Thanks for the help.

I just got an arris max plus a7800 for cheap at Walmart last week and it is doing great so far. 2400 sq ft 2 story house. Also reaches my Ring camera on the shed at the back of my yard about 35 ft from the house

ORBI. I hated it at first as there were constant issues with drops, but over the last 18 months the firmware has been updated and it’s been great. Terrific coverage, and fast speeds. It has a router with two satellites, satellites have Ethernet ports as well.

I use the nest/Google WiFi. Works well seamless.
The nest wifi points do not have Ethernet ports. The Google WiFi pucks/points do have Ethernet ports.

Can't comment on the specific one you listed but I've had the Google Mesh Wifi 3-puck pack and it has been absolutely flawless in my 3,500 square foot 2 story house, all 3 pucks are dispersed downstairs. Signal is so good I was able to run one of my Wyze cams in my attic to keep an eye on one of my drip pans to make sure water wasn't accumulating in it after putting on a p-trap on one of my A/C units, also runs my wife's Peloton which is upstairs with no drop in picture clarity at all.

I have the Orbi as well. Easy setup works well. I have 2800 sqft and had some weak spots upstairs. 10 mins after setup I was getting speeds 900+Mbps where is struggling to load web pages previously.

I had looked into orbi and liked it from reviews and what you could do. Is it one seamless system? Or when you switch from the router to the satellite is it a different “network”?
Looked into the google version too. Any reason for orbi over google/nest?

Deco M4. No complaints so far. I’m an idiot so I needed an idiot proof mesh. Cheap and easy setup. 3400 finished 2 story w/ 2200 unfinished basement. 4 ring devices, 4 smart TVs, and what seems like a few hundred kids kindle fires ipads ipods eco views and dots

I have the eero version 1 system but it’s starting to drop connections randomly. It’s almost 6 years old.
I’m in the market for a new system.

I was looking at the ASUS - ZenWiFi AX Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System for my house. It’s Wi-Fi 6 which I don’t really need but I like the speeds and range it’s capable of reaching.

What is WiFi 6? I haven’t heard of that before. We’re gonna have fiber through ATT, want to make sure I’m maximizing what we have.

It’s the new, fastest Wi-Fi available, that is until Wi-Fi 6E gets here next year.

Wi-Fi 6, or 802.11ax if you want to be technical about it, is the newest version of the 802.11 standard for wireless network transmissions that people commonly call Wi-Fi. It's a backward-compatible upgrade over the previous version of the Wi-Fi standard, which is called 802.11ac.
Wi-Fi 6 isn't a new means of connecting to the internet like fiber -- rather, it's an upgraded standard that compatible devices, particularly routers, can take advantage of to transmit Wi-Fi signals more efficiently.

If you want something a bit more robust, then you should look at the Cisco WAP 571. Its the controller and access point built into one.
You will need to run Cat 5E/6 to each of these from a PoE switch BUT it is worth the hassle if you can do it. We have a nice size 2 story house and I set this up in our house and it is ROCK solid.
It is missing some of the fancy thinks like a App to control it but what you get is a massive mesh that is backed by wires instead of a wireless back haul. There is nothing wrong with a wireless back haul but it isnt wired.
For my setup has 3 of these into a Cisco PoE switch that is plugged directly into my AT&T internet modem.

I've had the Amplifi system by Ubiquiti for 4 years now and never had a single issue with it....in fact I added a mesh point just last week in my garage to get a little stronger signal out to a Ring camera in installed yesterday.

I have the earlier system, RBK-50 I think, got it at Costco. The WiFi is seamless, easily covers my 3600 sF house, and you never know you’ve moved from one satellite to the other.

I ordered the TP Link Deco x20 with Wi-Fi 6. It’s a three pack for $270. Got good reviews. We’ll see.
