They will pitch the plan to government officials on Wednesday.

I’m not saying Disney is a buy right now, the stock could play a classic case of sell the news tomorrow if you’re familiar with how Disney stock usually works.

However it’s possible we could be looking at an open shift in those typical mechanics considering the recent $500 million investment by the Saudi investment firm. Will they allow their investment to crash?

Regardless, it’s an interesting scenario considering the move to reopen should be well received since Florida has a republican governor.

I’m hopeful Dis will rise tomorrow because I’ve got plenty of stocks I’m planning on holding through Jan.

It’s going to the moon baw. It’s made a nice comeback already and the parks aren’t even open yet

I picked up a long position at $90 when it dipped.

I’m sure some of the recent run up is anticipation of the reopening announcement, so it may not jump, or may even drop, after the announcement, but I’m long on DIS either way. The parks and sports/TV will get back and Disney+ is a beast.

Say a prayer for whoever it was in the DIS thread a month ago that called it the easiest short ever when it was at $102.

It’s going to get unanimous consent. Approval is not news as Universal already got their plan approved last week. Disney is only going higher from here. When the stock did not drop significantly (held huge support at $99) after earnings it was obvious the stock was going to be strong. Nice 20% pop in the last two weeks on what many consider a boring stock.

I increased my position to 1,000 shares in early April with adjusted cost right at $100. I think it zooms past all time highs in the next 12 months. It’s in my top 20 holdings that I won’t touch for 2 years.
