There is a sharp mental decline. Is it dementia? Very likely but there are other culprits out there as well. Which is what confuses me. Democrat power brokers have to see the same things I see. Why would the purposefully put someone so unfit up there?

I do not believe he is in the throes of dementia.

I believe he is nibbling around the edges of it.

But my experience with dementia is that it accelerates as it progresses. It's not linear in onset.

I’ve zero doubt. Just watch & compare video of him today vs 15-20 years ago.

It’s undeniable.

Friend of mine is a neurologist and suggested Biden’s dementia is mild at this point but he’s fragile. something like a bad night of sleep or an otherwise common sickness could cause Joe to really lose it. it will likely get much worse as the campaign continues.

Have any of you older guys first hand witnessed his mental decline? From what I've read he used to be sharp as a tack.

I took care of my mom for the last 8 years of her life. She was diagnosed with dementia. I saw my father-in-law and mother-in-law suffer from it. I've watched one of my best friend's mom -- and a sweet lady I am close to -- gradually succumb to it. I've also been around other elderly people who sometimes get a bit confused, but otherwise are Ok.

Biden has no business running for anything. His people should take care of him and let him retire from the public eye with dignity. He is not capable of running the country, or even running his campaign. The scary thing is that if he had gotten the nomination in 2016, he very well might have won (and I might have voted for him -- was not much of a Trump fan then). He is not mentally fit to deal with the issues now facing the president.

He can be lucid at times, that's true with any dementia sufferer, but the more pressure you put on him, pressure to perform that he previously would have handled easily, then the more evidence you will see of his condition.

I was particularly taken by the clip where he was speaking to an audience, then started moving around the stage, and ended up with his back to the audience, talking to the backdrop. Hell, our dog had doggie dementia in her dotage. As smart as Australian Shepherds are, there were times in the last few months of her life when she would get "stuck" in a corner and I'd have to "lead" her out.

I don't know what the Dems will do with Joe. Hiding him in the basement has been a blessing for them. If they continue with his nomination, his VP choice will be extremely important, but don't expect Joe to be running anything.

I’m sort of mixed on the whole thing. He obviously can’t speak clearly, but boy has he also had an insane number of ridiculous gaffes over the past 30 years.

Joe Biden has some early form of dementia and the powers in the DNC all know it..This is a calculated plan to keep Trump from destroying the real nominee for a solid year.

I'm not a doctor but I know a LOT about human speech patterns. His speech patterns indicate a semi-functioning brain. It is markedly different than his speech pattern 2 years ago which means it is accelerating at a rapid rate.

After the gaffe about AA's there's no way his controllers are gonna let em take live questions without knowing them in advance.

EVERYTHING will be scripted and rehearsed and there's no doubt his MSM buddies will feed him questions for debates with Trump.

Yes Joe Biden is at least in the early stages of dementia.

Anyone that has any experience with someone with dementia or Alzheimers can recognize that look instantly.

It's truly sad what the Democrat Party is doing to that poor man.

Early stages, but it can escalate quickly. Having your party nominee in this condition is absolutely insane.

The upcoming debates with Trump will be his dementia proving grounds.

Yes, he has full on dementia. What's scary is he's obviously also a pedophile.

That's a downright frightening combination.

Fact is he is 77 years old. Most 77 year olds have lost a few steps. Don’t know if he has dementia, but Father Time affects us all in time. Trump shows signs of being in his 70’s too - constantly repeating phrases when he speaks.
