Sessions had a front-line position in the Trump administration. He dropped his rifle and ran.

Uh, he was right to fire Comey for the now proven FAKE Russian investigation..

Trump should’ve fired Comey the day after his inauguration for allowing Hilldawg to walk.

Parties, pundits, and establishment types like to control politicians. DJT can't be controlled by those types. They just dont like that he won't do or say what they want.

Does anyone actually know if Sessions HAD to recuse? By law?

Well I mostly agree with Ann. But I don’t even agree with myself 100% of the time.

But this is a family squabble, I know I wouldn’t vote for the incumbent Democrat. And I would vote for Mr Recusal only if running against a Democrat. Thankful I don’t live in Bama so I don’t have a dog in this fight, but I guess I’d go Tubby since I’m aware of no others.

So the AGOTUS is obligated to pursue an investigation for which there is no legitimate predicate?

Well - she's right

According to the 'rules' he could not be in any investigation into a campaign in which he participated.

Of course, DEMs don't have to follow those rules, but no way could a GOP AG get away with it.

And Trump did not serve himself well in elucidating 'reasons' for firing Comey - should have just fired him and be done with talking about it - much sooner than he did.

So every previous AG would have this issue and should immediatly disqualify them from any investgation into their adminstration correct???

Wait, didn't Eric Holder say he was Obama's wingman. Disreguard

Jeff Sessions did nothing wrong and had already released any information with any foreign countries he had contact with in his part of the transition team. He had no obligation to recuse himself from his job.

Again, he no substantial interest. Having a meeting with the Russian ambassador is something all administrations do including - We can't talk about this until after the election Barack Obama and Miss reset Hillary Clinton.

He had zero obligation to recuse and chose to. To this day I will never understand why he did it and he can continue lying about it all he wants but it's just that - A BOLD FACE LIE>

Wrong, he absolutely could oversee a sham investigation into Russia that never existed. He could have looked at the FBI information - seen it was bullshite and shut it all down but he chose to let Rod Rosenstein ruin 3 years of his administration. fricking criminal

Hindsight is 2020. Trump was a but naive in that he thought the people deserve the truth and that he would be treated fairly once everyone saw that he was justified in firing Comey. Ann isnt mad Trump did anything morally wrong, shes lashing out because he didnt play politics well enough. She and her shite stirring can go to hell
