well, yeah

I have 4 kids and am paying just under $1000 a month for the 20 year old to be at Auburn

we are blessed, kid graduated with a 4 3 and got a 32 in the ACT, 33 with a super score

Bama offered a full ride, UGA offered to waive out of state tuition, and AU offered a 3/4 ride

I told the boy ROLL TIDE, but the wife said that he had worked hard enough to go where he wanted, and sometimes it's worth it to keep your powder dry for a more important fight...

cat will cost a minimum of $600 and probably well over $1,000, maybe even closer to $2,000

I can afford it, but it would crimp my style for doing fun shite with the 12 and 9 year old this summer

I do well, but am not an "OT baller"

fwiw, the 12 year old is allergic, but not so bad that it's an issue, we found out when he was 5 and the cat mostly stays outside...

None of that stuff matters. The real question is what does your wife think?

If you can afford to save the cat, do it. Pets are family and should be a higher priority than fun.

That said, the allergies are a consideration. Cat needs to start staying indoors when it's too old to win a fight.

Not to high Jack but unless the wife is paying the 1k a month I would tell her to kick rocks. Always take the free money.

I love LSU and that would never change no matter what, but if UGA had offered to wave out of state, or given me any kind of break, I would have chosen UGA over any school in the country.
