In the NFL game in 70's to early 90's, college ball at least in the SEC till about 2010/2011, I agree, offenses that run 2 TE/ 1Back sets or 1 TE/2 back sets where physicality and tackling between the 2 LT and RT of the offense, yes, but to play in space and cover, not sure.

Too slow to play LB. Sure he hits hard but I can’t see that guy making plays from sideline to sideline. No thanks.

Only reason to put him on d is if he’s better than what you have and he’s not
He’s fine with offensive role limited and special teams

The NFL currently has 15 - 17 Fullbacks on Rosters. He is Rated #2 Fullback in the country in some Pre-season publications.

You think long TDs by the other team while our slow LB trails would be interesting?

one of the few LB’s that gave LSU’s offense fits all night.

Where did this narrative come from? LSH shite-stomped Clemson’s defense with Skansi on the field. We scored 35 points on Skansi in 40 minutes of football, and the only play Skansi missed was the last scoring play. We drove to their goal with him on the field. That’s 52 if you extrapolate for a whole game.

I’m sure he’s a good player, but he DID NOT give LSU fits.
