I generally don't wear a mask. But if I walk into a business that requires one like a bank or UPS store, a happily comply. It's what they need to do to appear to offer a safe environment for all their customers.

Now, I might choose to go to a different store, but a good deal is a good deal. If I'm saving $50 on groceries I'll throw on an isolation gown if they ask.

Th Costco I go to checks at the door for a mask before letting you in, so he had to have worn one to get in and then take it off. At that point, I'm just going to wear the mask and finish my shopping, if it were that big of a deal I would just go to Kroger where I don't wear a mask

Private business.

He's so hellbent on explaining it is a free country, he should understand that means Costco can have rules like this.

If he doesn't like it, he is free to go somewhere else. What a pussy.

Well good thing neither you or the person you spoke with have any idea how HIPAA works

I'm glad to see that most of the O-T is starting to understand that "rights" involve the relationship between us and our government, not us and private business.

A few people out there still don't understand.

Would you agree if a store required you to submit to a temperature check upon entering?

What if they made you complete a medical history questionnaire?

We went to Costco yesterday... They were handing out masks at the front door. I asked if I had to wear one while shopping, " We can't make you wear the mask, sir"..
I didn't wear a mask and didn't have any issues while shopping. I did get some odd looks by everyone else wearing a dumb mask

So where is the HIPAA violation here?
