Question about testing capacitors on my camper a/c

This capacitor reads 48 on my meter. Does that mean the capacitor is good? It's on a Dometic ac on the roof of my camper. The compressor isn't staying on. It'll buzz for a few seconds and the lights will dim and then it cuts off. The fan works fine, just no cold air. Was working fine one day then not the next.
This is the meter I'm using
This is the other capacitor
It reads 44.2 at the HERM terminal and 9.8 at the fan terminal

You gotta get the camper up to 88 mph before it will work.
Duh.
Here’s the capacitor:

The capacitors are made in Mexico. You need a metric meter.
The second one is less than $13, delivered, from Amazon. I am sure you can replace both for less than $40.
Or you can check and see what the Ohm resistance is supposed to be and meter it for that.

Thermostat control board (in the overhead unit) is the most common issue with those. Change the thermostat too for about $20 more.

Capacitors seem to test fine.

Could be many things but my money says if your compressor is actually starting (is it?) and then stops running, then the run capacitor is probably bad or failing. Regardless of the reading of the capacitor it can still be bad. Replace the run cap first.

The first capacitor is a start capacitor and is connected to a small switch with three terminals on it (potential relay). That is what you need to replace.

You came to the right place. That’s just what we specialize in.
