It’d be nice if you guys, caplewood, et al, had a place to voice your opinions where you wouldn’t get banned, which would happen on TD. Should the gov intervene here so you and caplewood could share your real opinions on jooos and mocha?

The old refrain of "If I say what I really want to say I'll get banned?" What a pearl.

That was pretty lame and really not a proper analogy at all.

Go after them as a monopoly, because they pretty much are.

Her last line in last “Image”

“Live free or die”

She’s willing to go all the way! I like that

We need some modern day Patrick Henry’s

“Give me liberty or give me death”

Can BoarEd use that lawyer to sue Tigerdroppings? Or are we still pretending Tigerdroppings doesn't censor content as well?

Section 230 says that "No provider or user of an interactive computer service shall be treated as the publisher or speaker of any information provided by another information content provider" (47 U.S.C. § 230). In other words, online intermediaries that host or republish speech are protected against a range of laws that might otherwise be used to hold them legally responsible for what others say and do. The protected intermediaries include not only regular Internet Service Providers (ISPs), but also a range of "interactive computer service providers," including basically any online service that publishes third-party content.

Then why do they act as a publisher that censors content in a fashion which is undisputably aimed at one direction (1/2 of America)

Someone already posted a good reason. If Facebook is a private company they need to be taxed. But they can do whatever they want.

I thought Facebook was already taxed?

I'm slow and missed it. Forgive me.

What is the reason that Facebook cant be sued as a publisher despite a law that protects them from being considered a publisher with editorial censorship?

I'm sure facebook pays taxes. The only argument from a financial perspective is preferential treatment platforming from the government (similar to grants not counted as income)
