Over the course of 6 weeks our system did 190000 temperature checks.
ONLY 9 temps of greater than 100.4 were found
ONLY 1 turned out to be positive for Wuhan Coronavirus.

190000 tests to find 1 positive case.

This is the definition of a terrible screening test and waste of resources.

For an example of a good screening test I looked up screening mammography.

For every 1000 screening mammograms they find about 8 cancers
So only 125 tests to find 1 cancer

A good screening test and worth the resources as early detection can cut treatment costs down the road.

My office was doing them before the shutdown started and was using the contactless ones. My temp was pretty regularly like 94 with the those.

They screen us with the forehead ones for work and every day I’m 96-97 it seems.

I think they’ve already proven that not all people with Corona have a fever.

And for those 8 people hopefully they kept their asses at home. No one wants what they got.

Dallas county spent almost $1 million on temp kiosks for public buildings. I'm sure that'll be a huge waste of money.

It's a show.

It's apparently going to be done at the Disney Parks.

This will be great in Orlando....in July....ain't nobody getting in.
