Eh, it was experience, I will give you that but the value of it is still yet to be seen, especially given the overall economic cost...

That experience only cost us 10Trillionish
I expect there are some people who can comprehend the idea that value can be gained from something you don't necessarily endorse in retrospect
I strongly suspect you're not among them.

But I imagine it was valuable experience for utilizing hospital ships in times of national crisis. I know it'll be unpopular on this board, but the experience should be an upside in this. I think people can call this overblown/overreach etc. while still recognizing the threat is quite real and this experience could benefit us greatly in the future.

No problem in seeing this as learning experience.
This has yet to be determined. Define real: Ro how much >1, CFR (what do you feel is real), patients without identified comorbidities. There is more to "real" than meets the eye.
I am not saying you are wrong. I am just saying you may not be right. Let's wait till we have some temporal distance before making claims.

Yes, you are an agenda driven, divisive, cultist.
You would not be missed.

The funny part about this is I didn't fail to acknowledge the value. I just mocked it because of the cost. That seemed to hurt your feelings.

The low number of patients admitted to makeshift hospitals says that the threat is nowhere near as real as the media/nurses/politicians/karens pretend it is.
