LSU also gets some of the Texas kids that can’t get in to UT or TAMU due to both schools’ enrollment caps.

No way I’ll send my kid to that liberal cesspool in Austin or the great cult of college station.

Honestly, none of that matters anymore. No significant employer looks at a kid’s resume and is impressed that someone went to UGA instead of LSU/Tennessee/Auburn. Also works the other way, having degree from LSU isn’t going to give a candidate some magic bump over a kid that went to UNO/Southeastern.

Pretty sure the same thing happened under Saban here. We won and the school was able to improve.

Also why despite what he makes Saban is underpaid. He improved Bama academics more than anyone could.

As O keeps our program fun and the place to be we will end up with more students and in the end more donations. Everyone loves being part of a winner.

I think LSU is waiving out of state fees for incoming freshmen so that could be why

It matters if the employer hiring you is an alum of the schools listed. A UGA grad in ATL has a better shot than an LSU grad in ATL same goes for LSU in Nola or A&M in Houston.

You're 100% right. I grew up in Ohio, went to LSU for college, and loved every minute of it. I am back in Ohio and as much as I love being around family and friends, I do find myself missing Louisiana a couple times a week.
