Only made it to the halfway point of season 4. It’s a really good show in the beginning.

Loved it. It got stale a bit in S4/5 but then the show moved to NYC and it was good again

It ran for 82 episodes across 7 seasons, and even got a movie. Let's not act like it was canceled prematurely.

I agree with the others

I liked it, but eventually it just got too grimy and depressing for me to continue watching.

And I don't mean the plots are just too dark and disturbing, it's just everyone is downtrodden and miserable and everything is broken and seedy, etc. that I didn't find it that entertaining anymore.

It's like the need to take a mental shower after watching. Shameless and other Showtime shows were also like this for me.
