I think so. Valve conquered the whole industry and created the world's largest gaming platform by a country mile.

It got good once it didn't suck. People forget how trash it was in the beginning

As far as a platform then I'd say yes. Overall, I think actual computers would still be my #1.

It was until epic made their launcher. Valve were the innovators of PC gaming, but epic perfected it.
