Lists LSU and Clemson as his final 2. Anyone know anything about him?

LSU: "My family and I like coach Ed Orgeron and coach (Bill) Busch. I like what LSU is doing with their program, and they have a great history sending safeties to the NFL. I talk to LSU often actually. I talk to the safeties coach every day. And I probably talk to coach Orgeron once a week."

I wouldn't think this kid is a take at this stage?

Keep in mind that the coaches' board is not identical to Rivals/247/ESPN's boards. Also, it's worth noting that Clemson does not give out offers willy nilly. The fact that this kid's final 2 are us and clemson says to me that he could be a major diamond in the rough. He looks to have the prototype frame for the safety/LB hybrids we like. It looks like he's got quite a bit of room to grow into his body. Give him a couple years with ole Tommy and this kid could be a beast

I feel like everyone is about to get re-evaluated when we're done with the Covid. But how is that possible if they don't have camps like Rivals and such?

247 S Board

We currently have Dakota Mitchell on board

Kaine is still out there but you know it's hard to not just let Raymond and Busch get their guy.

If Clemson wants him, I’m not sure how he isn’t a take.

At 6'3 as a JR, if he grows any more he likely would need to change to LB and add weight.

Kid is 6’3 185 and is flying around on tape. I love this staff’s evaluations. Once his body fills out and he works on technique he’s going to be a problem.

If we're going with the assumption he will be a LB. Then 4* S Kamren Kitchens just dropped his top 5. LSU, Miami, Nebraska, A&M, Auburn.

The whole "he's a low(er) rated recruit by the recruiting services so that must mean they are right in their evaluation" is such a lazy argument at this point.

- considering seeing first hand what low rated recruits have done at LSU historically

Then again my assumption (by definition, lazy too, I know) is that's your reasoning but you didn't provide any context to your conclusion.

Which is also lazy.

His game reminds me of Jabril Cox. Same mannerisms and everything.

Looks like he might actually be more physical / physically aggressive than Cox. Don't know if he can cover as well as Cox (best cover LB I've ever seen).

And he difinitely looks heavier than 185lb.

Not saying he's 220 but definitely heavier than 185.

Just seeing all of these kids that nobody expected to see commit to us/have us in their top 5 means there will be lots of surprises in the future

I think I'd trust Steve over Shipley. Not saying your wrong but I figure Steve might know more. That doesn't really sound like he knows something either, just sounds like he's trying to recruit him to Clemson.

He is a take for Clemson. He is being recruited by Venables and defensive back coach. Apparently they're taking a small secondary class and want him to commit early
