DNI to Schiff: The transcripts are ready to release

EXCLUSIVE -- DNI TO SCHIFF: THE TRANSCRIPTS ARE READY TO RELEASE. A big development in the fight over 53 secret interviews the House Intelligence Committee conducted during its Trump-Russia investigation. Acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell has sent a letter to chairman Adam Schiff notifying him that transcripts of all 53 interviews, over 6,000 pages in all, have been cleared for public release. "All of the transcripts, with our required redactions, can be released to the public without any concerns of disclosing classified material," Grenell wrote to Schiff in a letter dated May 4.
The Intel Committee did the first probe into Russia's 2016 campaign interference and allegations of Trump-Russia collusion. Even today, its findings make up most of what we know about the affair. As part of that investigation -- it was run by then-majority Republicans -- the committee interviewed some key witnesses in the Trump-Russia matter: Donald Trump Jr., Steve Bannon, Andrew McCabe, Sally Yates, Michael Cohen, Hope Hicks, and many more.
Given the timing of the reveal to the American people just how crooked the Obama DOJ was, and how they railroaded Gen. Flynn, the timing of this news as Schiff continues to stonewall his cover for the fake whistleblower and CIA asset Eric Ciaramella couldn't be more delicious.

Would love to have seen his face when he received this news.

It gives TOKEN such a boner, though, knowing his government can keep so much shite like this hidden from us foolish plebes.

Why would he not release them? I thought he had proof of collusion? He doesn't want to show the American people the proof?

If the DNI has made classified redactions, pretty sure they can be “leaked” without consequence. Right?
Posted on 5/6/20 at 8:47 am to VoxDawg
If Schitt does not release them, a Republican on the committee needs to do it. That is what the Democrats would do.
ETA: What are the ones he really wants to keep hidden, can't be all 53?

I get no satisfaction in watching Schiff take a major dump on the poliboards newspaper this early in the morning.

I am not so sure about that. Since they are part of the proceedings of a public body, they would absolutely be subject to FOIA requests since they have been redacted and cleared for public release by the necessary agencies.
That said, even if not, an honest press would be howling for their release.

Are these the documents that allegedly show of his office working with the whistleblower to bring down Trump?

American people are probably past Russia and its probably best we move forward at this point. If the “R”s win back House then I bet we get further investigations.
