There very well may be. Maybe they brought up that he was a conservative, but it may be the 20th thing they find wrong with him instead of the 1st. My parents point blank said if I married my ex (this was after the break up and she was temporarily playing nice) that they would not show up to the wedding if I got back with her and married her and that she was absolutely never under any circumstances allowed in their house. Her being a Leftist was at #20 on problems they had with her.

I still have my same basic beliefs, but my hatred for the Left has gone into overdrive. Team Trump at least doesn’t care about my semantical views they may disagree with and welcome you on board.
