You want me to give you my email password?

It’s an email from Warner Thomas talking directly from his round table with other hospital leaders across the nation

There are links all over the internet detailing what is essentially a shutdown of our healthcare system, not because of overload but because of a moratorium on non-urgent procedures and placing Covid-19 priorities ahead of everything else.

But, a reasonably intelligent person shouldn't need an article to explain that when you refocus the healthcare system on one single disease, people would quickly start to die from other causes. That toll is rising now (and will continue to rise for years) as patients die from conditions that were allowed to progress unchecked for too long. I think it's likely that this lockdown will kill many more people than it saves from Covid-19.
