I'm thinking of adding insulation. Is it worth it to add it to existing home? Feels like u can hear a mouse pissing on a piece of cotton through the walls. And attic has bare minimum I'm sure. Was thinking of spray foam insulation in walls and adding some blow in insulation in attic. It's a one story home. This worth it or more trouble and money than it's worth. My HVAC has. A hard time in dead summer keeping up with keeping house cool

Does the west side of your house get alot of sun? I would start on that side just try maybe. I did look at some of those soundproof drywall panels awhile back but I'm sure you want an easier solution.

Are you foaming the interior or exterior walls? Are you doing interior for sound? If you are doing it for sound, do not use foam, use recycled cotton sound insulation it is way better for sound absorbtion. You should also wrap your plumbing waste lines while you are at it.

Have you seen spray foam installed? I don’t think it can be installed when the drywall is already installed
