re: Do you think Chase abused Stingley/Fulton in practice like he did Terrell/Henderson/Diggs?

Yup. When they’re both in the middle of their second contracts making them the highest paid @ their position these stories will resurface

Of course you know better than the other players, Coach O and all the other players.

I think it was the injuries for the most part. rewatching the Texas game recently really kinda underscored how guys just beat up we got in that game.

I think that teams should be required to put cooling water under those artificial turfs in the south, like they put heating water under them up north.
I don't think it is safe to play on a surface that can melt your shoes.
A quick check with google found
Heat Levels — Safe Healthy Playing Fields Coalition?www.safehealthyplayingfields.org
quote:

SYNTHETIC TURF IS 40-70 DEGREES HOTTER THAN SURROUNDING AIR TEMPERATURES ON WARM SUNNY DAYS. On clear warm days, synthetic turf fields get superheated to temperatures from 120 to 180 degrees F. Playing on synthetic turf can melt shoes, blister hands and feet, and induce dehydration and heatstroke.

It played out well as the season went on, but we weren't as strong at db as we had been.

Not much diff than 13. While we had a good qb, we didn't have the best season from a college qb to overcome that.

No you wouldn’t.

If we sat on a bench right now with joe, chase and Stingley. You wouldn’t bet me that joe and chase would go 4/5 for a g.

frick, I’d be willing to bet that Stingley intercepts at least one.

Not as bad as he did the opposing teams corners. Stingley is the best cb in the nation dude and that's a fact. Not just the best for this past season either. He is one of the best college cbs of all time. That comes from multiple sources who have been around the game and seen alot of top notch cbs in in their time. I bet chase and stingley we're about even when they matched up. I would bet chase beat Fulton more times than not, but chase is the best wr in the country so that's nothing to be ashamed of.

I wish I’d seen that article.

Could have made serious money.

Yea, after Delpit went out vs. Texas and Harris replaced him, Texas' offense became unstoppable. they really missed Delpit back there.

Probably a little of that and some key guys out or playing hurt while we had big leads. At the end of the day let's not forget that the defense came up with every stop we needed all season.

Patrick Queen picking off Tua is arguably the biggest play of the season because it changes the complexion of the hardest game we played all year.
