The media is doing this now. I thought part of Trump’s plan was to make the media melt and freak out. It seems like when he does things and the media freaks it’s all part of the plan but if he can’t do something it because the media might go after him.

Also, let's be very direct, if one is making decisions that are best for the country and basing them off of how the media will react to it, that is cowardly and shows zero leadership or vision. Not sure how anyone would disagree with that statement.
So what's the deal here? Why, according to you, is Trump making important decisions for the health and safety of Americans based on how the media will react?
