I recall thinking when the Saints picked up Brees my thinking was "Crap, we picked up another washed up QB who just had major surgery on his frickin throwing arm, why didn't we get Culpepper". I really hope this is one of those situations, one in which we get way more than anticipated.

Sometimes it's a lipstick on a pig situation and sometimes it's cleaning the mud of of a beauty queen, or at least a passable OT 6 or 7.
