good part is that he's definitely no lock to texas. USC is supposedly the one to watch out for.

He doesnt nearly have the explosion off the ball as Kennard and DeQuan Bowers. No way he's #1 overall.

Uhhhh, I think you guys are forgetting that those highlights are from his freshman and sophomore seasons against one of the toughest districts in Texas 5A football.

That's correct. He is supposedly now benching over 300 so he is increasing his upper body strength and should have an outstanding season. Word earlier this year was that he was strongly considering Texas A&M but I am not sure if that is still the case.

Didn't forget anything. McFarland, IMO, is better.
And if we're talking about young guys looking good. I think Jermaurio Rasco from Evangel is as good as Jeffcoat.

Jackson is 6'5" 240 and is very fast. He is the #1 recruit for 2010. He is also a good basketball player who lead his team to 3 consecutive AAU titles.

I personally agree, however it's still early. IMO I think he projects better inside or as 3-4 guy.

That would suck if he went to USC. 3 #1 DE's from back to back to back years, that is just overkill.
