I've heard John Curtis plays North Miami Beach on Oct. 4th LINK .

Well I guess Curtis may need a promotion after Labor Day.

ESPN seems to be a lil more knowledgable about Curtis LINK . Hey Clean, how do you see this one going?
In all honesty coming from someone who watched my Canes stink up the joint on defense against Oklahoma and the likes of Virginia and in general since 40-3, tearing it up in the summer against our defense isn't necessarily that big of a deal.

Maybe, maybe he could be Owen Schmitt to a future LSU backfield of Russell Sheppard and Lache Seastrunk :dunno:  .

His game speed is on another level from just about any player I've ever seen on film. 11.8 ypc ain't bad in 4A Texas ball.

Actually Texas 5A where 11.8 ypc is unheard of LINK . IMO Lache Seastrunk is the best 2010 prospect in Texas.

WOW

LOL, if LSU were to land that and Seastrunk and win a national championship that could definitely be the last straw for Texas fans with Mack Brown, not that I have anything against the man. It would be one thing for OU to do more with Texas talent, but LSU too?

He doesn't have nearly the explosion off the ball as Kennard and Dequan Bowers. No way he's #1 overall.

I personally agree, however it's still early. IMO I think he projects better inside or as 3-4 guy.

That's the problem right there. However, Favorite actually looked pretty good when I saw him in action last year in my opinion, he could very well end up playing on Sundays after this season.

Rhett Bomar is a good one.

Reggie McNeal, seeing him in high school in person I swear he was going to be the next Mike Vick...when that was still a great thing. Off the top of my head Sergio Kindle is one who is on the way there.
Every state is a little "too proud" of its high school football and posters like to downgrade another state by questioning the level of comp.-Mr. Clean

True dat.
In no particular order Adrian Peterson, Vince Young, Reggie Bush, and Ofa Mohetau.
I would be shocked if he stayed committed to Clemson or did anything more then tease A&M....

LSU better snatch Sentimore up if they can, he could be a Ricky Jean-Francois type player.

re: Shepard on Seastrunk

Shepard plus Seastrunk would be absolutely devastating in the backfield together courtesy of the great state of Texas.
Key matchup will be the Curtis OL vs. Trinity's DL. Trinity is always known for a huge, aggressive, defensive front - and the Patriots struggled at times last year to open holes, although the line gelled at the end of the year. -Mr.Clean

The 2 teams have a lot more similarities than they have differences except for John Curtis' 22 state titles.
