I’m sorry but the vast majority of nurses have absolutely zero to worry about even if they do catch it. Plus they signed up to work around sick people, so risk of illness comes with the territory just like shitty diapers would at a daycare.

But this chick just really irks me. I’m doing this against my will. I’m not a hero, please don’t call me one, which is why I’ll make a great big sign and go out into public and not look for attention...

Wow, I actually agree with DtG. Yes, I'm tired of it. They act like the most entitled people, even way before this, this just made the smugness worse.

Yes. I’m appreciative of them but their patting themselves on their backs is a bit nauseating.

About as much as I'm tired of hearing "we're all in this together." Nothing could be further from the truth.

Yes, I’m tired of people acting like they are more epic than they are. Nurses no exception.

It’s been quite a hoax. I know someone that quit work that was relatively isolated in his job to stay home because he didn’t want to infect his kids. Come to find out, his wife is working double shifts in a hospital during the China Virus hysteria. Seems a little backwards to me. Many in the medical profession are right in the middle of pushing the narrative.

You know , I support the nurses , DRs and support staff that actually deal with covid positives. That maybe 2-3% of actual nurses . Otherwise don’t be so dramatic. The grocery store , liquor store, pharmacist , hardware store , etc worker is taking a bigger risk than the non covid nurses. Hospitals and clinics are taking a lot of precautions , the fools working retails get none of that protection

The constant "front lines!" bullshite is going to their heads.

Get the hell out of the road and do your job.

Throw in EMTs as well. Those guys are running calls to sick people 24/7 in completely uncontrolled environments.

I had someone apply for a opening I had at my company. Contacted her for an interview, and she refused to to interview due to the Corona threat. Retards are among us, and they are plentiful!

No! Its the athletes that are always drawing attention while making millions of dollars.
When you get sick, stay at home and watch TV, don't make heroes out of folks who are exposed to every disease under the sun.

Lol I have some good screenshots and tired of hearing, "I'm a nurse, I know what I'm talking about."

I called out one the other night and asked her where she is getting her data from and she said NYT and a doctor that she really trusts.

I will say I just got done defending one because she posted how we should all be allowed to do what we want. Some lady argued no. The nurse is currently pregnant. I told her I admire her during this time and trust me, I'm not very fond of this chick. Its sad my state gov regulates boating to 2 ppl, yet has pregnant Healthcare workers working. It can't be that bad and the girl actually agreed that she is curious why the state hasn't told her to stay home.

I appreciate what they do in their profession. I really do.

However, I don't understand any bitching that comes from them when situations like this happen. You knew what you were getting into when you chose a profession in the healthcare industry.

That being said, this "Healthcare workers are fighting on the front lines" bs I keep seeing all over the internet and on TV is annoying. Unless you're obese or elderly, your chances of dying from this are practically zero.

52,000 deaths in this country so far....52,000 in a country of nearly 330 million people. You'll also note over half of these deaths occurred in New York/New Jersey.

So while I have a general respect for healthcare workers, they are no more heroes or "risking their lives" than they are on any other day they go into work.

How do I know that’s not a stage of a stage? Because otherwise why would this chick have her camera running at that time. Immediately understand what’s happening. And yep calling it out too so that the vid fits nicely together. Yeah I’m not buying it

They are doing that in my community. I don’t know why they don’t do it for the grocery store workers, who see hundreds of people, I see every time I go to the store, but they sure do it for the hospital workers taking care of maybe a hundred people every week.
