Any restaurant workers/owners here? Curious what the plan is, will all employees wear masks? Will there be temperature checks for customers?

Not nearly as full. Sweden never closed and people self distanced themselves. Their restaurants stayed empty without government rules.

Unprofitable
ETA: because of government mandated table limits that crush margins. To-Go will be pushed HARD to try and cover

And as much as we all want the country to reopen, how many of you are that desperate to just "get out" and go eat at some restaurant day 1?

Not initially. Some will be still cautious to go out. Others are financially hit.

Fwiw....My neighbor is executive chef at a ruth chris restaurant and he said they have been rearranging the seating area and positioning tables to be further apart.

Good. That’s not surprising whatsoever and long overdue.

We may stay to go only a while after things open up. Really just taking things one day at a time.
