100% true story here:


I was caught on the phone with a customer closing a big deal worth quite a bit of money for me when my morning coffee poop hit. I thought I could hold it but the deal hit a snag and I had to bring a third party on the line to clear up the issue. The call drug on and on and my urge got stronger and stronger. I work in an at-home office in my old garage that I recently converted to an office so it's only me in there. It got so bad that I was either going to go on myself during the call or on the floor. I chose the floor. I looked inside a cabinet next to me and found some garbage bags and napkins so I unrolled a garbage bag, placed it on the floor, and put my phone on mute while the lady on the other end did her talking to the third party and let er rip right there on the garbage bag.

Of course, about a minute after I wiped myself with the napkins the call ended. I just grabbed all four corners of the bag, picked it up, and placed it into another bag then threw it away outside.

I am not proud of that moment but it was either poop on the floor, in my pants, or hang up and lose the deal. I chose money over pride.
