I’m thinking I might enjoy this series, but have never played it. Wondering where I should start with an Xbox? Campaign is all I really care about, so online capability isn’t really a factor.

I think R6 Vegas/Vegas 2 are your only options for campaigns unless you have an original Xbox or a PC.

Loved the Vegas games.

I would hate to see what the original rainbow six looks like now.

Siege was great at first, but all these new operators make the game look stupid now

Dont bother with R6 Siege then. There is no campaign. What do you think you will like about it? Maybe there are other games we could recommend.

Does anyone know if you still have to do some funky crap to get the Vegas games to even play on steam? Like renaming a file or two?

And this was all before Windows 10.

That it’s a shooter, but more tactical and stealth based? At least that’s the impression I’ve been given.

The Vegas games are good. I would check out the Ghost Recon and Sniper Elite games. For a different sort of steath/tactical experience you may want to check out the Hitman 2016 and its sequel.
