I don't know what I was thinking, but I bought SE at almost peak at 137. I must have been drunk.

I remember there was some chat about PD a while back. It took a hit like other tech over the last week and may be a nice play heading into earnings. They have a damn fine product and they're picking up customers. My only concern is that it could be deemed luxury service as budgets get tight.

I am currently making a play with WMT heading into earnings. My plan is to then jump into PD and ride into theirs.

Small beginning investors like you are admired and welcomed here, not hated.

What we disapprove of is someone who posts daily about how much money he's making on a stock, over and over and over, all while ridiculing any other posters who might not own that stock to the point of calling them ignorant, out of touch, etc., only to find out he owns 2 shares. That's annoying.

Thank you. I've tried to be honest from the beginning that my original investment was $300 so I'm not in any way trying to act like a high roller.

I've made incremental deposits since March so I can't say exactly what is 'earned' via investments or what was deposits without looking into it deeply. But I've been on the right end of a few deals, most notably LVGO and now KLYB. Just dipping my toes in the water before I make any real decisions that would impact my financial status. I enjoy having a reason to watch the markets and learn more as I go.

Thanks for the support.

Other than a portion of LVGO I sold at $155 I am still largely holding both and have significantly added to TDOC.

ETA I will add that just yesterday I had to deal with finding a new PCP as I recently moved and the whole process is just so bad and makes no sense. I firmly believe telehealth is the future

LVGO and TDOC

i did a little spreadsheet to track what LVGO price should be based on TDOC price (0.592 plus 11.33).

TDOC is trading now at 196, based on the formula LVGO should be 127. its trading now at 123

and no, i do not know what that implies

Man I’m just not feeling it. I think it has value, however it is super limited.

You just can’t assess a patient properly from a television screen. I have personal experience with Tele psych and tele-neuro, and these docs are highly dependent on the people physically with the patient.

Md’s use the old arts of palpation, percussion, etc to assess and diagnose patients without the expense of imaging, etc. you can’t do that through a TV screen.

ETA: Rapid diagnostics (lab) is also a major hurdle even for something as simple as a strep, or flu test. How can you do that from home and treat?

here's my feeling on that...
doctor visits to diagnose wont ever go away.
but, once you are diagnosed, maintenance & check-ups can be done remotely (TDOC) especially is theres a monitoring component (LVGO)

I think you have it completely backwards. Tracking, monitoring and regular checkups will be done through the computer. Only limited, infrequent special visits will be done in person.

ETA there will always be a need for in-person doctor visits, I just think in the future we will be a healthier society for various reasons including telehealth and thus in person visits will be extremely reduced.

It would not shock me at all if 25 years from now we have home "kits" that can take things like basic lab/blood work and connect it to a computer instantly. Watches that are connected to databases which take your info and analyze for all sorts of things and regularly provide you feedback.

Sick people need to stay home, as much as possible.

I have a pain specialist. We spend 5 minutes talking. I think she is going to keep doing Telehealth for most of her patients. It makes no sense to drive all the way to the office. It is great for stuff like that.

Other times I have to just go to the doctor for certain refills quarterly. It's a waste of time and money going to the office.

Ya think?

Even on my six month checkups a basic set of labs is drawn. They always draw a CBC, Chemistry, etc.

LDL/HDL etc for lipid control.

For diabetics an A1C is drawn to see how well they are controlling their blood glucose.

CBC gives a tremendous amount of info and can help dignise viral vs bacterial infections, etc.

Disagree on the first part. I think the specimen collection process is way too prone to contamination due to human error for it to be a personal at-home thing. We have trained people drawing blood for a reason

I mean think back to 1995 and remember that the internet didn't exist and you are telling me 25 years from now we won't be able to accurately draw blood?
