Doesn't Miami hold the record for the 2003 squad?
Posted on 4/22/20 at 4:57 pm to Ryan3232
Record for most first round picks was 6 (Miami 2004). In the current 7 round format, most picks from one school is 14 (Ohio st 2004)

For first round picks:
Miami's record for the most first-round selections from the same college, with six in the 2004 NFL Draft.
That same draft they had 9 total picks

Wills/Wirfs/Thomas all expected to go Top 10 in no particular order. Sounds like Becton--the Combine superstar-- is expected to be the 4th OT off the board.

Hoping for trades galore and some surprises.
Curious about trades and possible chaos. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a couple of big trades and surprise picks early in the first round that set the stage for more trades and chaos, but it doesn’t materialize.
The logistics of coordinating trades this year could be a nightmare. A team would have to communicate with scouts and coaches from different locations to discuss a trade and prospect(s). Their potential trading partner would have to do the same.
I think some trades won’t happen simply because teams will be up against the clock before the trade can be completed.

Finally something that isn’t a god damn re-run

I don't think so, Tim

JMO, but Magee and Divinity will both he drafted.

quote:They very well could. Divinity was a slam dunk going into this season. Teams seem to get scared of people with drug issues and he also is kind an out of position prospect..
JMO, but Magee and Divinity will both he drafted.
Magee had a really good year out of nowhere as well. Could be a decent backup guard for a team. I think he has as good of a chance as any of these 4 guys.
Blake Ferguson could very well go in the 7th round. Teams have done it before and he is the top guy (top 2 atleast).
Fehoko is the one guy that I really dont think will get drafted for sure. But HEY, you never know. That LSU being next to his name sure helps.

Bama’s record will stand.
Burrow will go number one of course but y’all have been over ranking your prospects since the season ended. Gonna be a lot of butthurt Louisianans saying the NFL hated LSU the next few days.

Wouldn’t surprise me if the Dolphins take 2 of these guys tonight.

Just seeing now that ESPN and NFL Network will be a joint broadcast. Anybody know how ABC will be different? Where will Kiper be?
Posted on 4/23/20 at 8:39 am to Bunk Moreland
ABC is suppose to be more in depth on the prospects themselves - highlights and such. Less talking about the business aspect part of the pick and more about profiling the player.

If I have to watch 3 1/2 hours of draft coverage just to see GB trade back into the 2nd round like in 2017, I may just lose it.
I didn’t even think about this possibility. Oh my God that would suck

My personal mock draft. I have very little confidence after Cincy & WSH. But this should be fun.

4. NYG - Wills
5. Detroit (trade)- Okudah
6. Chargers - Tua
7. Carolina - Brown

10. Cleveland - Wirfs
