Can only comment on what i have. Dewalt, no issues. Swear i never seem to charge my batteries, yet when i grab one they have full juice

I have had some good dewalt and some crap dewalt. He had just a mix of everything that was on sale at the time.

A lot of people don't know this but if the tool has a "center" position between forward and reverse it turns the clutch off completely and the battery will stay charged for months...if you leave it forward or reverse the clutch stays powered up draining the battery. I leave all of my Dewalt 18V tools between forward and reverse and some of them will be charged 6 months later.
