What is the Left's endgame?

I just don't understand them sacrificing even their own small business supporters during this process without having some sort of plan.
What are they trying to accomplish? Are they trying to see how far they can push people to rely on the government for basic needs?

Total control. Dependence on the government tit. The $1200 was like the small free sample of crack to get you addicted. Now they're upping it to $2000 "until the unemployment rate is lowered to pre-covid levels." Well, you know what, if everyone is getting "free" money they won't want to work, and the unemployment rate will never be anywhere near as low as pre-covid days.
