Everything I’ve heard says TN isn’t fully opening until 2nd week of May. We’ve been steady 200-300 cases daily, most in Metro Nashville and Memphis. The roads the last two days have been MUCH busier than last two weeks. I think we are gearing up, but the hospitals (Vandy & UT Medical Center) are both clients of my wife and they have been steadfast that 2nd week in May is the most likely back to work all sectors

I think 7 states never shut things down to the degree 43 states did.

I think they were one that never did anything close to a full shut down. Iowa was another state along with Wyoming. So what those states are doing might be a model for other states with non urban and large metro areas with dense populations. People are still going to practice social distancing, are going to avoid hand shaking, wash hands, etc.
People who are older, have immune issues related to heart disease, diabetes and lung issues, heavy smokers (Compromised lungs) or even excessive drinkers (probably liver and kidney issues) etc need to stay away from crowds.
Healthy people should be allowed to do more than what is going on right now. So maybe even if things get back to 80% normal, it is better than now here in LA which is < 50%. I am not saying we should not have closed schools and done some shut down, LA has actually done 125,000 tests which is quite an accomplishment, Texas next door as of today has only done about 160,000, California just hit 200,000. I don't know if LA ordered more test earlier when this thing broke out, but our Dept of Health has done a good job of testing and I have not heard that our hospitals have been totally overrun like, nothing like what is going on in NY and NJ. Metro New Orleans has been hit hard, yes, I know.

Arkansas never went on full lockdown, but the Gov. ordered all salons and in-person dining and bars closed and many state parks and gatherings over 10.
He said today they his priority in "opening" starts first with elective hospital surgeries (that rules out abortion clinics which are closed).
Arkansas will probably slow play it a little more Than Texas, Florida, Tenn., etc.
The state economy has still been greatly affected. No restaurants or public events or school guts the social structure and commerce of day to day life.

Are TN and OH starting Phase 1 at the end of the month or are they jumping straight to 100% open.

Iowa never played the bullshite game. We quietly turned people around heading here from Chicago.

Yes. You can do anything on the beach except set up tents, chairs, toys, ice chests, etc from 5/1-5/15. You can walk/run on beach, swim in gulf, fish, surf, etc.
5/15, it’s fricking party time!

Texas may reopen, but we are closed. Don't come here.
