You're assuming that everyone who uses symbols is familiar with pedo symbols. The only evidence ever shown for the association is an obscure (purported) FBI memo from 2007, so it's not common knowledge.
I agree that the pedos know what's going on, and that it's hard to believe it's just a coincidence that it was next door to Comet Pizza, but it's a big jump from that to concluding that every similar symbol is drawn by pedos.

There's thousands of geriatric elementary school art teachers and hippie chick tattoo enthusiasts who are filthy pedos and just don't know it yet
