I'm not hating I can just see people taking advantage of this and either selling the laptop for cash especially since some of the people getting this are unemployed and need money due to Covid 19. I can also see some just being broken.

A laptop costs less than half what the average smartphone costs. Its interesting when you go into the homes of these children and they have big TVs and top line smartphones but there's no computer to be found.


The problem, as usual, is poor prioritizing by irresponsible people.

I love the idea. It’s a great idea...in theory.

If there was only some way to make them accountable for using the equipment as it’s intended.
