There was that place off of Highland at Lee, under the water tower. Bridge there got closed down, still is, and that was the end of that business.

Not quite a Baton Rougian, but I believe they had a few restaurants there.
Mr. Cook
I would love me a baked potato from there.
And who could forget the bargain basement pizza buffet prices at Mr. Gatti's?

ETA: Where was the Pasquale's in BR?
There was one Florida Blvd. just east of Little John. Was there in the 70's, changed to Chinese food sometime in the 80's, and then became a Vietnamese place in the 90's. Still is I guess.

Great history lesson man. I remember when Pal owned it still under the Pedigo name. I drank many a beer at the big arse bar before it was destroyed. I always think about an old GF named Sherri that worked there then who died in a car wreck.
Sadly, I never went when it was Pedigo's, and I knew Don fairly well back when I was just a punk.

Okay so what was Bennigan's prior?
Posted on 4/8/20 at 2:09 pm to PiscesTiger
I wanna say Bennigan's built that building..was always a Bennigan's(Home of the Monte Cristo)?
But, was it Danver's that predates a renovation of the multiple Mexucan joints to follow in the building next door?

here was a place I never hear mentioned in the mid 90s off College Drive called Ciprianis
Yeah that place was owned by Don Gerald, I believe. Food was good there. That location never seems to work for anyone for long.
