No new Covid-19 deaths in Arkansas in the past 24 hours; 16 total. No stay at home order

How in the world is this possible?
The skyscreamers keep railing on the last few states without these shelter-in-place orders, yet we are doing better than just about any other place in the country.

Obviously they are burning the bodies at night...

Also, the governor says we are sending at least 5 ventilators to Louisiana, because we lucked out on the front end of the spread.

School canceled rest of Semester though. Good news from Asa today.

We have a VERY low population density throughout the state and were quick to cancel school.
I can go on a 20 mile bike ride from my house and not come within 25 ft of a single person. There's a ton to do here with similar scenarios.
Our gov did a great job of closing 2 state parks near Little Rock because they were so crowded and has told out of state people to frick off.

I take my kids and nieces to an elementary school playground every day and there is nobody there. We shoot hoops, and they play, it’s really nice.

Asa and Smith are doing great work and dick slapping Fauci daily now. When Asa said Saturday that Fauci hadn’t called him yet tried to tell him he wasn’t doing enough in an interview, I knew we were in good shape.

It's the next woke/metoo movement
they're bored at home looking for people to shame that aren't couped up in a 700sq ft apartment in downtown atlanta.

They didn’t tape it up? I’ve seen park in Gentry not taped but everywhere else is.

It probably just shows how really unpopular Arkansas is with the rest of the country. The state so ugly it couldn't catch a cold.

I am scared to think how Mikey B would’ve handled this.

Not yet, not sure they will. There is a Greenbrier cop that sits by the school and he never says anything to us.

Nobody goes to Arkansas so it’s not being reinfected

All of my local parks are shut down. My 4 year old loves to go, but if I went unless it is mid day mid week then others would be there.
It is a push from local leaders, and state that stopped the spread here. As stated before. Low pop/low density state, and most of our leaders treated it as if we were the same as others. Basically stopped the spread in its entirety.

The President should site examples like this and encourage states to lift shelter-in-place orders for rural areas across the country.

It's becoming pretty clear what is transpiring with this virus.
1: Person's with certain clinical phenotypes get the severe symptoms.
2: Population density impacts the virual load exposure.
Combine both if one is volunerable and it's likely death.
I have seen fewer unhealthy people dieing in rural areas compared to NYC.

About a month ago we all got mail from Walmart. It had a pill in it and said "take this, don't ask questions."
And here we are.
