Surely you dont believe that. Even the conservative Washington Times doesn't believe something that dumb.

He can be admired by his crew for sticking up for them, but should be fired for the manner in which it was done.

FWIW, I served in the Navy so I have some basis for my opinion on the admiration part. As for him being fired, the manner in which he did things was totally unacceptable. In short, he deserved more than just being fired imho.
