It's already been used to treat malaria for a long time. No one's bladder explodes.
There is no side effect that they would not already know about. So all that is left is to see how effective it is, and so far, it has had tremendous success.

It has other side effects and in this case it is also being used with other medications and a lot of elderly very sick people.
Not defending him or downplaying the drug. Just saying I understand why he isn't 100% ready to say it is our answer.
