I am still waiting for someone to explain how the ship was allowed to take a port of call in Vietnam in the face of this pandemic. Did the captain have final say on this? Was he ordered to do it against his wishes? No one on that boat should have been allowed to step foot in any asian country.

Captain Crozier determines whether they pull into port or not. He could have easily canceled the port visit to protect his sailors.
