OP is not a doctor of any sort. Not ER, no nothing.

Dude is a kook.

A physician doesn’t have time for bullshite threads on TD right now.

Your family sounds extremely low risk.
Stay away from your parents. Kids are the number one vectors since they only occasionally become symptomatic.
Regarding vaping, there's no data. Nicotine is prob ok, but who knows. Intuition would suggest that this virus is hard on the lungs, so any predisposing lung issues may be high risk, but again vaping is not specifically studied as far as I know and I would doubt there is an association.
That being said.. why vape?

Regarding vaping: I read this article earlier

Vaping may increase risk of serious COVID-19

Columbia University pediatrician Dr. Alok Patel, an ABC News special correspondent, points out that cases of EVALI provide very real evidence that vaping can cause direct lung damage, which puts e-cigarette users in the “high-risk bracket” of those most vulnerable to serious illness from COVID-19.

“We know that e-cigarettes include chemicals such as propylene glycol, glycerol, and flavorings, and that these chemicals have the ability to go deep into your lungs and cause damage,” Dr. Patel told ABC News. “When people become critically ill from COVID-19, this also involves the deep pockets of their lungs. It’s really scary to think about what could be happening in those that have both of these going on together.”

They’ve posted a ton more. And started other threads. Check Tiguar’s posting history. Nurses too. Starting a thread doesn’t negate one from being in the medical profession.

My co worker worked in close proximity with someone on Saturday. This person started a fever on Sunday. Positive test for COVID came back today.

What are the odds my co worker is infected or contagious? I didn't work with them on Monday or Tuesday, but did this morning.

Would you expect me to have problems getting my Hydroxychloroquine when I need it refilled the third week of April? My Rheumatologist put me back on it in 2012. She told me then she thinks I should be on it whether I'm having flare ups or not.

What about a transplant recipient who takes anti-rejection drugs (Tacro & CellCept), but never gets sick with the cold or flu or anything like that? How high of a risk factor?

I really think there are more carriers of this shite than we can even imagine. We need to really get ahead of this shite with testing. I feel like we are acting to late. Problem is it doesn’t present with symptoms for days and days.
