Shell drops out of $5 billion dollar Lake Charles, Louisiana LNG project

The project was estimated to create up to 5,000 construction jobs and 200 permanent full-time jobs once operational.

Well assume it’s an export terminal so you want them lower, but point still remains.

So shell bets everything on natural gas by buying British gas , and now indicates they aren’t bullish natural gas.

With recession looming and the current oil environment with Russia and opec.

Shell going to have to scale back spending big time

According the link in the OP, the reason the project was canceled is because of low natural gas prices. THAT is the point that remains.
