posted on money board to no avail, so i come to the brethren of the OT..
just received a check from knapper vs. cox . appears everything is legit, little over 500.00. just checking if anyone received this , scam etc..
says from cox using robo calling to non cox customers from my research back in 2015 i think

I'd probably confirm with an actual business before I just cashed a check that came in the mail. I don't even cash the $12.00 ones that I get from AT&T from time to time.

You're going to be left eating a bag of Cox if you cash that without confirming authenticity.

I got the same check - $536.97. I submit for a bunch of class action suites. I’m also wondering if legit. The bank confirmed routing number is correct but said to call class action administrator for check authentication. Nobody answers at the settlement 800 number. Did you end up cashing?

The settlement was for $10,000,000. Attorney fees were around 30%. 10,000 people applied timely to receive the settlement. They mailed the checks on March 23rd. So $500 seems reasonable
